Remark : The results of E. camaldulensis essential oils combination with gentamicin (GEN) varied. Against MDR strain Aba-4914, combinatioins with both eucalyptus oils acted synergistically, lowering the GEN concentrations to 64 microgram/mL MlC in combination with EuHN and to 32 microgram/mL MlC in Gen-EuB combination. The same combination against strain Aba-6673 was interpreted as additive effect with FlC index close to 0.5, with the MlCs reduced to 1/8 MlC in combination with EuHN and 1/16 with EuB. The EuHN-Gen combination (MlC value for essential oil and 1/16 MlC for GEN), although not synergistic, lowered the MlC value to the break point for GEN.
