Remark : Fennel tea fully inhitbited CYP2E1 activity in vitro with IC50 23+/-4 microgram/ml. The data suggest that fennel has a significant potential of inhibiting all the major metabolic pathways for acetaminophen oxidation and N-acetyl-p-benzoquinone imine formation.
