Remark : Results: The pineapple juice elevated activities of the CYP1A1, CYP2E1, CYP2E1 and CYP3A11 enzymes via significant increases of EROD, ANH and ENDM in the mouse liver in parallel to the expression levels of the CYP1A1, CYP2E1 and CYP3A11 mRNAs.

Note : Four enzymatic reactions: ethoxyresorufin O-deethylation (EROD) for CYP1A1, ethoxyresorufin O-demethylation (MROD) for CYP1A2, aniline hydroxylation (ANH) for CYP2E1, and erythromycin N-demethylation (ENDM) for CYP3A11.
