Remark : Result: Gluten, zein and soy (with 1% methionine added) diets produced lower microsomal cytochrome b5 concentrations in the liver than did diets containing casein or soy without added methionine.
Note : Different types of dietary proteins altered the liver microsomal content of cytochromes P450 and b5 to different extents and the effects were apparently unrelated to the comparative biological values of the proteins.
