Remark : Deoxyelephantopin was also found to inhibit metabolism of midazolam weakly between 0.01 and 10 micromolar range of concentration (IC50 = 46.18 micromol). Deoxyelephantopin inhibited the metabolism of midazolam (>50%) at concentrations of 50 micromolar and above as compared with ketocozole, the inhibition was more pronounced, at concentrations 0.5 micromolar and above.
