Boiled tap water was added to the required weight of tea powder with intermittent stirring for 10 min. The tea brew was than strained through filters to obtain a clear solution, poured in to clean drinking bottles, which were wrapped with light resistant polyethylene sheets, and were given to three groups of rats.
