Remark : Rice bran was found to be a better adsorbent than wheat bran. Basic drugs were adsorbed to a much larger extent compare to acidic drugs. Amongst acidic drugs adsorption of paracetamol was highest. Amongst basic drugs adsorption of promethazine was lowest.
