Remark : Single dose of garlic oil in rats was responsible for a significant inhibition of hepatic CYP-catalyzed reactions including aminopyrine N - demethylase (CYP2C) and aniline hydroxylase (CYP2E1) activity, though 5 days administration of garlic led to a significant increase in these hepatic CYP activities.
