Remark : it was found the AEA was able to reduce the viability levels of MCF-7 cells to a higher extent when used in combination with paclitaxel. Cl analysis indicated that synergistic effects were observed for all combinations of paclitaxel and AEA for 24 h (Cl=0.51-0.66). However, a shift toward an antagonistic effect was observed when treatment of MCF-7 cells was allowed to proceed for 48 h, indicated that this sensitization effect was found to have a transient effect, diminishing upon 48 h of incubation.
