Remark : Results: The concentration of midazolam was higher in the animals treated with single-herbal preparations, Mu Dan Pi (Paeonia asperoides), as compared to the control group. The Cmax was indicated to increase 1.5- for Mu Dan Pi, whereas, the Cmax for Xi Yi Hua (Lonicera japonica) and Huang Qin (Scutellana baicalnsis) were similar to the control. The area under the curve (AUC) on the other hand, was also observed the increase of 2- for Mu Dan Pi.
