Interaction with drug : Vincristine*/VCR/LCR/Leurocristine
Dose/Conc.(drug) : 50 microgram/kg, i.p. for 10 consecutive days
Remark : Result: Vincristine administration produced significant histopathological changes assessed in transverse sections of the sciatic nerve; nerve derangement, axonal swelling, and increases in numbers of Schwann and satellite cells were noted. Pre-tretment with the hydroalcoholic extract of AC (100 and 200 mg/kg; p.o.) significantly attenuated vincristine-induced axonal degeneration and other histopathological alterations.
