Remark : A combination of Centalla asiatica (CA) extract with antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) resulted in a reduction in the ED50 of CA extract and concomitant AEDS. The ED50 of intraperitoneally given phyenytoin, valproate and gabapentin, were found to be 13, 14, and 310 mg/kg BW, respectively, when given alone, whereas the corresponding values in the presence of CA extract were 5, 29 and 79 mg/kg BW.
