Remark : At 5 days post-medication, the myeloperoxidase, S100A8/A9, histone, and interleukin-6 levels were markedly lower in the combination therapy group compared with the conventional therapy group.
Note : Subject total: hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) patients who received conventional therapy (included decreasing intracranial hypertension, conscious sedation, reducing temperature, and applying glucocorticoids and immunoglobulin; n=28), patients who received combination therapy (andrographolide sulfonate plus conventional therapy) (n=18) and healthy control group (n=18).
