Remark : inhibition zone of tea polyphenol in combination with oxacillin against MRSA was obviously larger than the single drug, and ECg/EGCg in combination with oxacillin against MRSA was also obviously larger than the single drug. Tea polyphenol could enhance the anti- MRSA activity of beta-lactam antibiotics and tetracycline. Two monomers of tea polyphenol, ECg and EGCg, show the ability to enhance the anti- MRSA activity of oxacillin.
