Remark : Ginger extract + Clarithomycin combination exhibited a synergic or additive effect. Ginger extract + Clarithomycin combination inhibited the growth of Helicobacter pylori strains at a lower concentration than when the single drugs were assayed separately. 18/25 strains showed MIC values of Clarithomycin lowered with the median of reduction of 12-fold (rand 4- to 256- fole) for ginger extracts + Clarithomycin.
