Remark : The extracts (400 mg/kg) in combination with dexamethasone caused a significant (p < 0.05) reduction (44.79%) in amount of circulating triglycerides in serum and preserved serum calcium levels. The extracts enhanced and preserved bone compactness (quality) of rats treated alone with extracts or in combination with 200 micrograms/kg dexamethasone.
