Remark : Reduction of CYP2E1 activity in humans and some animal species; no increase in CYP2B1/2 in humans. Mild inhibition of Pgp in vitro. Single reports of increased bleeding time with lisinopril, warfarin. Reduces bioavailability of the protease inhibitor saquinavir and to a lesser extent ritonavir. Appears safe with most drugs except saquinavir.
