 ลักษณะทางพฤกษศาสตร์

ไม้พุ่ม ใบติดเรียงสลับ ใบมีลักษณะหนาเหนียว รูปไข่ เห็นเส้นใบได้ชัดเจน ดอกคล้ายดอกสารภีมีขนาดใหญ่ สีขาวและมีกลิ่นหอม ผลมีลักษณะเป็นกล่อง เมล็ดกลมและขนาดใหญ่ ในผลหนึ่งจะมีเมล็ด 1-3 เมล็ด
